<\/figure>\n\n\n\nMount Lemmon has experienced different forms of precipitation this Winter season. Every bit of data collection counts. There are a number of resources available to all of us when it pertains to weather resources. This is important as we are in Spring and heading towards the summer months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As KLMN-LP is a service of the Mount Radio Club, we have a weather station that is located on Mount Lemmon. The weather station is better with rainfall levels, as opposed to snowfall. This is why we have included the link to SnowView, a service of the University of Arizona. SnowView is a satellite data and model driven tool for monitoring snowpack, precipitation, and streamflow. One of the contributors is Dr. van Leeuwen from the School of Natural Resources and the Environment and Faul Preservation Area. Another resource from the same team is DroughtView, which as the name suggests, focuses on drought. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We also have a link to our weather cameras that overlook Radio Ridge. The U.S. Forest Service has their own weather cameras that are available to look from Mt. Bigelow and also provide data from Scout Camp (Camp Lawton area). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are others offering resources using other platforms. At KLMN-LP, we like to focus on non-profit organizations and government agencies that provide the service free to the public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
